Our Design Covers in polyvinyl chloride (PVC) feature a revolutionary 4-chamber hollow profile with excellent insulation properties. The additional fourth chamber provides even more buoyancy and safety — the 13/60 profile is certified with a load-bearing capacity of 100 kg/m² up to hail class 3.

Design Cover PVC – the robust PVC pool cover
The Design Cover PVC is the affordable slatted pool cover from Rollo Solar. It combines very good thermal insulation with high safety and easy maintenance, made of durable polyvinyl chloride at our factory in Bad Tölz.
The 4-chamber profile 13/60
At its core is the 4-chamber hollow profile 13/60. The fourth air chamber adds buoyancy and safety, while the enclosed chambers insulate the water particularly well, so heat stays in the pool and evaporation drops.
Certified safety
The Design Cover PVC is NF certified to European standards and bears up to 100 kg/m². Profile 13/60 is certified to hail class 3 and reliably prevents children and pets from falling in.
Insulation and easy care
A floating cover reduces evaporation – the largest source of heat loss – and keeps out leaves, pollen and dirt. This lowers heating costs and chemical use, and the smooth PVC surface is easy to clean.
PVC or polycarbonate?
The Design Cover PVC is the robust, more affordable option. The Design Cover PC made of polycarbonate is more impact resistant and available in metallic finishes. The cover comparison shows the difference, and the Mini Cover is the most affordable entry.

How does PVC differ from the polycarbonate profile?
PVC is robust and more affordable with very good insulation. Polycarbonate is more impact resistant and available in metallic finishes.
How safe is the Design Cover PVC?
Profile 13/60 is NF certified and bears up to 100 kg/m². It prevents falling in but is not a surface intended for walking.
Does the cover withstand hail?
Yes, it is certified to hail class 3.
