Founded in 1983 by Roland und Heide Melichar in Königsdorf, ROLLO SOLAR is now run by the second generation of the family — Hannah and Felix Thormann.
The utmost care, uncompromising quality standards and state-of-the-art manufacturing combine with personalised service — from the initial consultation through to installation and maintenance. AI-supported processes make collaboration faster and more precise; at the heart of it all is a team that is passionate about its customers. Every Pool Cover is unique.
As a subsidiary of the founding family Melichar, Rollo Solar is part of it. Today, it is primarily responsible for sales, operational activities and human resources.
Having held positions at KPMG, BMW and Capgemini, he is responsible for strategy, finance, procurement and digital development.
Behind the two of them is a team made up of over 40 people in production, design and service — the cornerstone of ROLLO SOLAR.

Development, manufacture and assembly are all carried out in-house — at our 5,000 m² production facility in Bad Tölz. We rely on German, local suppliers and precision craftsmanship to ensure that every swimming pool cover meets your quality standards.
