Fully recessed — the roll-up unit disappears below the water line in a separate chamber. Architecturally clean, no visual interruption, maximum design freedom. For concrete, masonry, plastic, stainless steel.

Design Cover PC, PVC, Mini Cover — what to offer when.
For premium outdoor pools and architecture projects Design Cover PC is the most robust recommendation. For indoor pools and retrofits Design Cover PVC is the economical standard choice. For smaller pools on a tight budget Mini Cover is the entry line — fully automatic, but without a solar variant.

Note: for PC profiles in dark colours (e.g. carbon-metallic) we also assess the thermal load in the specific project setup. Solar variants work with a transparent/semi-transparent top and a dark underside (greenhouse effect within the profile).
Six material details that prevent complaints.
In premium pool building it is not the plain warranty figure that decides, but the detailed workmanship of the profile. Six points where we differ measurably from mass-production solutions — as an owner-run, second-generation family business, with fair prices for genuine custom manufacture. No off-the-shelf goods.
The 4th hollow chamber provides additional buoyancy for safety. The curved profile shape ensures fast water run-off and reduces soiling — a self-cleaning hook shape.
More material = higher hail reserve, better insulation, more stable geometry over the service life. Directly verifiable in a comparison sample.
Welded end caps keep water out for the long term — the most common cause of complaints with glued constructions is eliminated. Colour-matched or transparent.
Profile clips allow individual slats to be replaced at any time — without fully dismantling the cover. Competitor solutions require laborious bending apart of the slats, in the worst case causing damage. With us: service costs and downtime drop significantly.
Anti-algae and increased UV protection are standard at Rollo Solar, not an option. All profiles in the PC series come with TriEX — no surcharge, no discussion. The profile stays clear long-term, algae adhesion is minimised and UV resistance increased.
On Design Cover PC we give a 5-year warranty, on Design Cover PVC and Mini Cover 3 years each — well above the usual market standard. Bindingly promised, not just advertised — and a strong argument in the sales conversation with your end customer.

Yes. For retrofitting an existing pool the above-floor roll-up unit is the preferred solution — it needs no intervention in the pool. For full refurbishments involving pool works, below-floor is also possible. We review measurements and interfaces project-specifically with your team.
Yes. We manufacture for rectangular, free-form, infinity, brine and salt-water pools. Ladders are handled via cut-outs; skimmers and overflow channels are generally no problem. For jets, counter-current systems or unusual edge designs we assess the retractor area technically and deliver a project-specific solution rather than a standard answer.
We recommend PC for premium outdoor pools, permanently stressed architecture projects and all pools where UV, temperature and hail reserve pay off economically. PVC is the robust standard solution for indoor pools, retrofit modernisation and cost-conscious projects. Mini Cover provides the entry line for small pools — automated, but without a solar variant.

Carbon-metallic is reserved exclusively for the PC series — PVC cannot reliably handle dark solid colours thermally. For PC in dark RAL shades we also assess the thermal load in the specific project setup. PC is temperature-resistant up to ~120 °C, PVC only up to ~60 °C — that is the reason.
Standard projects with standard colours have a shorter delivery time; custom colours and special situations take correspondingly longer. Concretely on enquiry — we give binding dates as soon as geometry and profile choice are clear. For large projects and lift system systems, early inclusion in production planning.
If you take on public pool projects, we support you with suitability and reference certificates, CE/TÜV/NF/LNE certificates and sample tender-specification building blocks. A prequalification of your specialist business can noticeably speed up the suitability check in the procurement procedure — we provide the appropriate documents to file.
