View all questionsWhat is the difference between PC and PVC?+
Polycarbonate is more impact-resistant, more heat-resistant and available in metallic finishes — with a guarantee of up to five years. PVC offers very good insulation at a more attractive price. Both materials are fully recyclable.
Can the cover support a child’s weight?+
Yes. The 4-chamber profiles can support up to 100 kg and prevent accidental falls. Important: A cover increases safety but does not replace the duty of supervision.
How much energy does a solar cover save?+
With the Design Cover PC Solar, heating costs can be reduced by 50–70 per cent — the translucent profiles harness the sun’s energy and retain heat in the water. Figures are approximate and depend on the pool, location and usage.
Can the cover be left in the pool over winter?+
Yes, with the right preparation: lower the water level, remove any debris and check it regularly. Our winter checklist guides you step by step through the preparation process.
