Solar Pool Covers from Rollo Solar
A pool cover from Rollo Solar – also known as a solar cover, slatted cover or roller cover – keeps your swimming pool warm, clean and safe. Our solar pool covers float as a slatted profile directly on the water surface, absorb the energy of the sun and release it into the water. This saves heating costs, reduces evaporation and protects against falling in – fully automatic at the push of a button.
Three profiles for every requirement
We manufacture three slatted profiles in Bad Tölz, Germany: The Design Cover PC made of polycarbonate is the premium solar pool cover – impact resistant, durable and available in elegant metallic finishes. The Design Cover PVC with its 4-chamber profile offers excellent insulation at an attractive price. The Mini Cover is the affordable option at the price of a foil cover. Why a solar pool cover?
A solar cover is the most economical way to heat a pool and keep it clean. The floating cover reduces night-time evaporation – the largest source of heat loss – and keeps out leaves, pollen and dirt. This noticeably lowers heating costs, water loss and chemical use, while the closed surface increases safety for children and pets.

Frequently asked questions about pool covers
What is the difference between a solar cover, slatted cover and roller cover?
These are different names for the same solution: a cover made of individual slats that rolls up and uses the sun to warm the water.
How much heating cost does a solar pool cover save?
The biggest effect is reduced evaporation. The exact saving depends on location, pool size and use, but it is clearly noticeable in practice.
