Four air chambers instead of the usual three – this ensures maximum buoyancy and an extra level of safety. Your pool is optimally protected when closed.
Less space, less mess
Thanks to the cleverly designed convex curve, water and dirt drain away more effectively, and the wrapping radius – and therefore the space required – is significantly reduced. The benefits for you: more compact installation dimensions, less cleaning and, consequently, less stress.

Our profile is significantly stronger than the market standard – with up to 81 per cent more wall thickness. This makes the cladding extremely hail-resistant and ensures optimum thermal insulation. A difference you can really feel.
Guaranteed to be waterproof
Others glue or seal the end caps of their profiles with silicone – the classic weak point where water can seep in, leading to the growth of algae. We use a state-of-the-art process to weld them securely and permanently: completely watertight, durable – and in a colour that matches too.
Individual profiles can be easily swapped
If a profile becomes damaged, simply replace that one component – without having to laboriously bend back the cover at the joints. This saves time, money and hassle, and protects the product.
Evaporation is the biggest Heat thieves.
Most of the energy is lost through the open water surface: evaporation alone accounts for around 70 per cent of total heat loss from a pool. Every litre that evaporates carries heat away – and must be replaced by adding more hot water and topping up the pool.
A tight-fitting cover prevents exactly that. It keeps heat, water and chemicals in the pool – day and night. This significantly reduces heating costs and extends the swimming season by weeks.

Design Cover PVC – the robust PVC pool cover
The Design Cover PVC is the affordable slatted pool cover from Rollo Solar. It combines very good thermal insulation with high safety and easy maintenance, made of durable polyvinyl chloride at our factory in Bad Tölz.
The 4-chamber profile 13/60
At its core is the 4-chamber hollow profile 13/60. The fourth air chamber adds buoyancy and safety, while the enclosed chambers insulate the water particularly well, so heat stays in the pool and evaporation drops.
Certified safety
The Design Cover PVC is NF certified to European standards and bears up to 100 kg/m². Profile 13/60 is certified to hail class 3 and reliably prevents children and pets from falling in.
Insulation and easy care
A floating cover reduces evaporation – the largest source of heat loss – and keeps out leaves, pollen and dirt. This lowers heating costs and chemical use, and the smooth PVC surface is easy to clean.
PVC or polycarbonate?
