Green LED transformer: Is the LED on the transformer lit up green? If not → have the control unit’s 24-volt circuit checked.
Performing a reset: Switch off the transformer’s mains switch for at least 10 seconds — this will reset all faults.
Mechanics & Limit SwitchesThe cover does not close / open fully
Materials & DamageSun damage — warping of the profiles
- —The profiles have become severely distorted or shortened
- —The profiles look milky
- —The profiles have expanded on the underside and/or top
- —The joints between the profiles have opened up so much that they no longer hold
Damage caused by exposure to sunlight due to improper storage is excluded from the warranty.
Materials & DamageHail damage — Mechanical damage
Hail Class Guarantee: Some products are certified to a specific hail class. The manufacturer’s warranty covers damage to the material, provided that the size of the hailstones does not exceed the relevant hail class.
The owner must report the damage immediately and provide written confirmation of the size of the hailstones from the local meteorological office.
You can find out the hail class from your specialist dealer, in the operating instructions (from November 2016 onwards) or in the hail register. See the warranty terms and conditions →
Note: Hail resistance may diminish within a few years as a result of natural weathering.
Materials & CareColour changes — timber components & plastics
Plastics: Colour changes caused by UV components in daylight and natural weathering (yellowing, photo-oxidation, embrittlement) are unavoidable. These are not manufacturing defects.
Timber components: Wood is a living material — knots, dry cracks, irregularities in the grain and variations in colour are all part of its natural character. Wood swells and shrinks in response to changes in humidity. Dimensions and surface finishes may change over time; this does not constitute a manufacturing fault.
- —Do not place any radiators or radiant heaters near the system
- —Do not cover panelling permanently with decorations
- —Protect real wood surfaces from mechanical stress and scratches
- —Wooden components are not floorboards for walking on barefoot
Materials & CareCondensation in the profiles
The residual moisture trapped in the hollow chambers of the profiles during production condenses on the inside as a result of temperature differences.
This is not a fault: Condensation build-up inside the profiles is visible in all profiles with transparent and semi-transparent surfaces. This does not affect their functionality.
This does not constitute a manufacturing fault, nor does it give rise to any claim under the warranty or for a refund.
