Control & operation
The remote control does not respond
Fehlerbild
The handheld transmitter or remote control does not respond.

Check range: Are you within range of the receiver? Move closer to the receiver and try again.

LED-Kontrolle: Does the LED of the remote control light up red when a button is pressed? If not → replace the button cell (battery) of the remote control.

Perform reset: Switch off the mains switch of the transformer for at least 10 seconds. This acknowledges all faults.
Control & operation
The key switch / programming switch does not respond
Fehlerbild
The system does not function and does not respond to button presses or the key.

Netzstecker: Is the mains plug of the transformer plugged in? If not → plug in the mains plug.

Netzschalter: Is the mains switch of the transformer switched on? If not → switch on the mains switch.

Green LED mains switch: Is the mains switch of the transformer lit green? If not → have the transformer supply line checked.

Green LED transformer: Is the LED on the transformer lit green? If not → have the 24-volt circuit of the control unit checked.

Perform reset: Switch off the mains switch of the transformer for at least 10 seconds — all faults are acknowledged.

The cover does not close / open completely
Fehlerbild
The cover does not stop at the correct end point when closing or opening — parts of the pool remain open or parts of the cover remain on the water surface.
Please contact your specialist dealer immediately — the limit switch must be readjusted. This requires qualified specialists.
Material & damage
Sun damage — deformation of the profiles

Wichtig: PVC swimming pool covers (especially Solar type) must never be exposed to sunlight in a dry state. The profiles must always be in contact with the water surface or protected by a sun- and heat-reflective tarpaulin.

Indicators of sun damage:

  • Profiles have severely deformed or shortened
  • Profiles appear milky
  • Profiles have expanded on the underside and/or upper side
  • Profile connections have opened to such an extent that they no longer hold

Sun damage caused by improper storage is excluded from the warranty.

Material & damage
Hail damage — mechanical damage

In the event of damage, the system must be shut down immediately and the specialist dealer contacted without delay.

Hagelklassen-Garantie: Some products are hail class certified. The manufacturer's warranty covers material damage provided that the hailstone size does not exceed the respective hail class.

The owner must report the damage immediately and obtain from the local weather service a written confirmation of the hailstone size zu erbringen.

You can find out the hail class from your specialist dealer, in the operating manual (from 11/2016) or in the hail register.

Note: Hail resistance can diminish within a few Jahren as a result of natural weathering.

Material & Pflege
Colour changes — wooden components & plastics

Kunststoffe: Colour changes due to UV components in daylight and natural weathering (yellowing, photo-oxidation, embrittlement) are unavoidable. These are not manufacturing defects.

Holzbauteile: Wood is a living material — ingrown knots, drying cracks, grain irregularities and colour variations are part of its natural character. Wood swells and shrinks with changes in moisture. Joint widths and surfaces change over time. Not a manufacturing defect.

Wichtige Hinweise:

  • Do not place radiators or radiant heaters near the system
  • Do not permanently cover claddings with decoration
  • Protect real wood surfaces from mechanical stress and scratches
  • Wooden components are not barefoot decking
Material & Pflege
Condensation inside the profiles

The trapped residual humidity remaining in the hollow chambers of the profiles during production condenses on the inside as a result of temperature differences.

Kein Defekt: Condensation inside the profiles is visible on all profiles with transparent and semi-transparent surfaces. There is no impairment of functionality.

This does not constitute a manufacturing defect and does not give rise to a claim or warranty entitlement.
